New York City Alumni Association Party

2008 – New York party organized from Chicago in conjunction with local New York alumni.  Created invitation, which was posted on social media and sent in a mass email.  Picked location, which was the home of one our members.  It had a rooftop deck for sunny weather, with our Association member’s home as the backup.  Bought supplies over the web from a local New York supplier and had them delivered to the party site.  Ordered more wine and food than was needed as a thank you for the host.  Arranged for a “celebrity” guest, a school staff member who many respected.
